Red Guitar

This 13-1/2 inch, 12-fret guitar has Brazilian rosewood back and sides with curly figure in the back. The top is red cedar, with double X bracing. The neck is mahogany and walnut, with a slotted headstock and maple burl headstock veneers. The rosette and end graft are of maple burl. The fretboard, bridge, and pickguard are ebony, and the binding is curly maple. The top has custom half-herringbone purfling, and a unique red-tone finish inspired by the finish often used on Stradivarius violins.
